To find out a little more about one of the most successful professional e-commerce apps in Europe, we invite you to turn the microphone over to Maelys Gautret, administrative and financial manager at Maslo (in charge of logistics and all the gifts section), who reveals the secrets behind this success...

Question 1: Hello Maelys, the Maslo application is very successful and has received excellent ratings on download platforms. Can you explain the reasons for this to us ?

Maelys Gautret : Of course! One of Maslo's main assets is our marketplace, which offers more than 150,000 items, ranging from physical gifts to e-cards, travel and ticketing. In addition, the order support available directly from the app allows our users to get quick answers when they have questions.

Q2: It is quite impressive indeed. And how do you manage the logistics for such a catalog?

MG : We have set up a network of logistics partners with warehouses spread across Europe. This allows us to ensure fast deliveries, generally in 4 to 5 days, everywhere in Europe since we are in a position to deliver in 29 countries.

Q3: Speed is a powerful argument. Can the same be said for the prices charged?

Maelys : It is precisely one of our strengths! We offer very competitive prices, often at or even below major retailers such as Fnac, Darty or Boulanger. We are not content with being a simple window, we are really “in the game” in terms of prices.

Q4: Are you even talking about “good deals”?

MG : Absolutely! We are not at all in the logic of some CE gift platforms that charge higher prices. On the contrary, we make sure to remain competitive and to offer real opportunities to our users.

Q5: And how do you maintain this competitiveness?

MG : We have solid partnerships and a constant monitoring of the market. For example, when a new product comes out, like the iPhone 16, we make sure to have it quickly on our platform. Our stocks are updated daily to ensure the availability of products.

Q6: Let's talk a bit about the user experience. What's new in the future?

MG : Very good question! As it happens, we have just launched a new version of our marketplace with a more modern and more intuitive interface than the previous one. This new marketplace will highlight good deals, promotions and trendy items. We are also introducing the possibility of adding items to favorites, which was a request from our users.

Q7: Exciting features! Are there any other innovations to report?

MG : Yes, we are now integrating tailor-made trips thanks to our partnership with Worldia. Users will be able to configure their itinerary and activities directly from the app. In addition, we recently implemented the possibility of completing a purchase by bank card if the user does not have enough points.

Q8: It's a great evolution. And on the back office side, what improvements?

MG : We have optimized our connection with our partners for almost real-time monitoring of stocks and orders. Package tracking is automatically sent by email to users. All of this contributes to a smooth and seamless experience.

Q9: We sense a real desire for innovation. But what about the ethical and environmental aspect?

MG : This is a very important point for us. We recently partnered with Clic Logistic, a company with a mission that shares our values. They help us reduce our environmental impact by reusing packaging and avoiding plastic. They also work with ESATs, which adds a social dimension to our approach.

Q10: A responsible approach that is nice to hear. To conclude, what message do you want to send to Maslo users?

MG : I would just say that Maslo is not just a challenge application. It is a complete product that combines technology and Gift marketplace. We are constantly working to improve the user experience and offer the best possible service. Stay tuned as more surprises are coming soon!
